Dawn of a New Day

An ochre plain at first light. A red sun breaks on the horizon and throws its rays flat across the ground — past a lion lying down with a lamb, a table set with grapes and a chalice, a rocket figure, split in half, taking off toward deep space. A dark tree holds the left edge against a green sky, and a dove with an olive branch crosses ahead of a long scatter of birds.
