Inheritance

Inheritance reflects the emotional weight of being young in an uncertain world. Beneath an enormous eclipsed moon, a solitary figure folds inward, caught somewhere between vulnerability, burden, and resistance.

The relationship between the figure and the moon is deliberately unresolved. The moon may be crushing the figure beneath its weight. The figure may be carrying it. Or perhaps it is pushing it aside.

That ambiguity sits at the center of the work. To be young today can mean inheriting a world already shaped by forces beyond your control while also being asked to imagine what comes next. The figure is neither entirely powerless nor heroic. It exists somewhere between the two—burdened by what it has inherited, yet still capable of moving it.
